Position Summary: Tidal Basin seeks a competent Eligibility Supervisor for a potential opportunity to join our team, assisting in one or more programs that provide housing for the survivors of Maui fires. This position represents an exceptional opportunity to join an expert team to facilitate change and help make a lasting difference. The objective of the Eligibility Supervisor is to supervise a team of Eligibility Specialists (ES) for the Program. The Eligibility teams are responsible for reviewing program applications and being the main point of contact for applicants as they progress through the recovery programs. The Eligibility Supervisor oversees the ES by maintaining the unit's operations, meeting goals and objectives as assigned, complying with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, and adhering to all contractual or prescribed stakeholder expectations or requirements. The Eligibility Supervisor advises on issues identified by the ES and will assist the ES in performing the following duties: review of intake forms and documentation to determine the Survivor’s eligibility for program benefits, recommendations for award, and finalizing agreements for execution. The Eligibility Supervisor will identify bottlenecks and deficiencies, coordinate with the Eligibility Staff, and implement recommendations to reach resolutions. This is a production-based program, so clearing assigned caseloads through queues is an essential job function, and success in the position will be evaluated accordingly. Duties/Responsibilities: Provide project management oversight and work effectively as part of a team to provide expert services. Specific duties may include:
Provide program oversight and expert technical assistance on policies, principles, and standard operating procedures related to the Program.
Manage project personnel in the eligibility unit with a strong emphasis on production.
Devise solutions-oriented strategies that facilitate program growth and success.
Develop management tools for program targeting and performance reporting.
Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulations and guidance.
Ensure absolute confidentiality of work-related issues and uphold data integrity policies.
Ensures program service and procedure issues are resolved.
Monitor and maintain productivity within the units and manage the team of Eligibility Specialists.
Ensure high-quality service for applicants.
Establish performance objectives and provide ongoing feedback.
Write formal staff reports that are clear, concise, and easily understood.
Present program/project ideas and coordinate with management and staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; AND,
3+ years in case management, disaster case management, application processing, public assistance programs, grant-funded or government programs or related fields.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Experience managing a team of professionals.
Experience with federally funded housing programs preferred.
Job Location: This would be onsite in Honolulu to support the Maui fires.
The hourly pay range is $38-45/hr.
