Position Summary: Tidal Basin has a potential opportunity available for an Expense Analyst. The objective of the Expense Analyst is to support all travel expense functions including, but not limited to expense report review and coding, employee support and to ensure submitted expenses are in accordance with travel policy guidelines. Job Duties and Responsibilities include:
Analyze and review expense reports submitted by employees for accuracy and proper coding.
Ensure that employees are in compliance with travel policy guidelines.
Various research and administrative functions related to expense reporting policy & procedures.
Maintain submitted expense reports in the ORC database to ensure reports are properly approved and reimbursed on a timely basis.
Communication with employees (including executives) regarding submitted expense reports.
Staff support for employees to handle questions, requests or other matters relating to expense reporting and travel policy.
Assist members of the Finance Department by providing copies of expense reports as required for billing, audits or sundry tasks.
Inform management of unusual activity and/or transactions not in compliance with travel policy guidelines
Assist with special projects as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Complete all required compliance training on an annual basis.

Required Education and Experience:
Associates degree in related field of study (Preferred)
Minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience
The hourly range for this position is USD $20.00 to $24.00/hr.
