Position Summary: The NCS Casework Supervisor is responsible for supervising up to 5 NCS Caseworkers in their task of assisting Non-Congregate Shelter (NCS) participants in their transition out of the NCS program into stable rental units. This role provides in-person, one-on-one support to NCS Caseworkers who assist NCS households to apply for housing benefits, search for appropriate housing, and coordinate the move from NCS to rental housing.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide supervision, support, and daily oversight to a team of NCS Caseworkers.
Maintain subject matter expert level understanding of all NCS, NCS recertification, and NCS transition policies and procedures.
Write job aids and produce any necessary collateral documents or forms to support NCS transition activities.
Review the system of record for accuracy, including case notes, case details, and hotel placements.
Escalate cases according to need and project processes.
Maintain ability to perform NCS Caseworker responsibilities if necessary.
Provide supportive guidance to staff who need additional support to fulfill their job requirements.
Ensure that NCS Caseworkers meet individual production goals.
Produce data and narrative reports on project progress as requested by the client or the Project Management Office (PMO).
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Preferred Skills:
Bilingual: English and Yup’ik language family.
Crisis intervention training.
Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.
Education and Experience:
Preferred, Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field.
Previous experience leading a team of caseworkers or case managers.
Previous experience in casework or social services is highly desirable.
Previous experience working with case management software.
Work Environment:
Requires in-person, one-on-one coordination with NCS participants in Alaska.
May require weekend, holiday, or evening shifts.
